People used to die è una rielaborazione per Equilibrio Dinamico della performance originale Avant les gens mouraient, creata inizialmente per l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM). La performance si sviluppa attorno al movimento Mainstream Hardcore, reinterpretando i gesti dell’Hardjump, dell’Hakken (scena gabber) e del Jumpstyle, danza ultra-dinamica diventata popolare verso la fine degli anni Novanta nel nord Europa.

Mahalaga Landscapes is a contemporary dance ritual that reconnects us with nature and our tribal instincts, inspired by the nature reserve and industrial heritage of choreographer Jill Crovisier’s hometown. In 2025, the work was reworked and presented in Italy in collaboration with the Equilibrio Dinamico company and commissioned by the Le Danzatrici en plein air festival: the strong link between Luxembourg and Italy remains at the heart of this work and is embodied in a dance that bridges people and their stories.
