XV Edition of the Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Competition: the 2024 call is online
The selection call for the 2024 Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Competition is online!
The XV edition of the Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Competiton continues to look to the future and promote young contemporary dance. Through the support of the innovation of languages and practices, also in 2024 it supports the development of new artistic projects created by young international choreographers.
The Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Competition is conceived by Laura Pulin, artistic director of the Festival of the same name, in collaboration with the Arteven Regional Circuit. It is promoted and strongly supported every year by the Municipality of Padua, the Cariparo Foundation and Banca Etica and is aimed at young choreographers residing in Italy and around the world. Up for grabs is a cash prize of €5,000 and a choreographic residency. The finalists will participate in the Prospettiva Danza Teatro 2024 International Award in Padua at the Teatro G. Verdi, as part of the Festival which has brought national and international dance artists to the stage for 26 years.
The call is aimed at authors between the ages of 18 and 45, intending to create a contemporary dance project lasting a minimum of 15 minutes and a maximum of 25 minutes which brings a group of dancers on stage with a minimum of 2 performers. Applications must be submitted by 11.59 pm on 10th March 2024 through the dedicated section.
