The evening consists of a selection of performances chosen for the Showcase of Young Contemporary Dance by Network Anticorpi XL, an Italian network that currently involves 41 organisations in 17 regions. The artists chosen are among the most interesting currently working in Italy. Two performances will be staged at the Eremitani Museum: Graziosissimo by Laura Gazzani explores how the codified and canonical gesture of classical dance “port de bras” can become part of our everyday experience, making the extraordinary ordinary; Good vibes only (beta test) by Francesca Santamaria explores the concept of scrolling and, borrowing the structure of the free trial, questions the relationship between performativity and consumption.
