The Abbondanza Bertoni Company returns to Prospettiva Danza Teatro, describing its show as follows: ‘Viro is a monster, a creature cut in two who, unaware of the schism, amplifies his heroically self-satisfied and depressed nature by splitting in two,’ says Michele Abbondanza, describing the show. Antonella Bertoni continues: “Two dancers on stage, identical, opposite mirrors confronting each other (…) In continuous adherence to Byetone’s electronic music, which in its square nature imposes its own rhythm on the story, Viro is a sociological score for reading our times and perhaps understanding them, in an ambivalent way, as theatre knows how to do”.
