16th Edition of the International Prize: the call 2025 is online
The call for entries for the International Prize Prospective Dance Theatre 2025 is now online!
The 16th edition of the International Prize Prospective Dance Theatre continues to look to the future and promote young contemporary dance. By supporting the innovation of languages and practices, also in 2025 it supports the development of new artistic projects realised by young international choreographers.
The International Prize Prospective Dance Theatre is conceived by Laura Pulin, artistic director also of the Festival of the same name, in collaboration with the Circuito Multidisciplinare Arteven. The International Prize Prospettiva Danza Teatro is organised with the contribution of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo, in collaboration with Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi and Scenario Pubblico – Compagnia Zappalà Danza Centro di rilevante interesse nazionale. It is aimed at young choreographers resident in Italy and in the world. A cash prize of €5,000 and a choreographic residency are up for grabs. The finalists will participate in the International Prize Prospettiva Danza Teatro 2024 in Padua at the Teatro G. Verdi, within the framework of the Festival that has been bringing national and international dance artists on stage for 26 years.
The call for applications is aimed at authors aged between 18 and 40 years old, who wish to realise a contemporary dance project with a minimum duration of 15 minutes and a maximum duration of 25 minutes that features a group of dancers with a minimum of 2 performers. Applications must be submitted by 23:59 on 9 March 2025 via the dedicated section.
