Heartfelt congratulations to all participants and in particular to the other three finalists selected by the commission!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Sala Ridotto of the Giuseppe Verdi Theatre in Padua on Sunday 12 May the winner of the <em>PREMIO INTERNAZIONALE PROSPETTIVA DANZA TEATRO 2024<\/em> was proclaimed, promoted by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Padua with the contribution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo in collaboration with the Circuito Multidisciplinare Regionale Arteven and the artistic direction of Laura Pulin and Eleonora de Logu. These are the four finalist choreographers who presented their works in the presence of the jury and the audience: <strong>Manuela Vittoria Colacicco<\/strong> (ITALY) with the choreographic project <em>Kontakte<\/em>, <strong>Alessandra Ruggeri\/Misanga<\/strong> (ITALY) with the choreographic project <em>H\u00c0-BI-TUS<\/em>,<strong> Catarina Casqueiro and Tiago Coelho<\/strong> (PORTUGAL) with the choreographic project <em>Matomari No Nai<\/em>, <strong>Beatriz Mira and Tiago Barreiros<\/strong> (PORTUGAL) with the choreographic project <em>Caf\u00e8<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The prize consists of a contribution to the production amounting to 5,000 euros, a one-week creation residency within the spaces of the Prospettiva Danza Teatro Festival and the presentation of the finished work in the 2025 edition programme &#8211; the prize is financed by the Fondazione Cariparo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JURY EVALUATIONS<\/strong><br \/><strong>The commission also awarded an artistic residency to <em>H\u00c0-BI-TUS<\/em> by Alessandra Ruggeri\/Misanga<\/strong>, for the duration of one week at Scenario Pubblico &#8211; Centro di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale in Catania, <strong>and gave a special mention to Beatriz Mira and Tiago Barreiros with the project <em>Caf\u00e8<\/em><\/strong>. The Audience Prize was awarded to H\u00c0-BI-TUS by Alessandra Ruggeri\/Misanga.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong><em>Kontakte<\/em> <\/strong>by Manuela Vittoria Colacicco: the commission appreciated the intention to seek new spaces of challenge between human and scenic bodies, in dialogue with a refined electronic musical score.<br \/>&#8211; <strong><em>H\u00c0-BI-TUS<\/em><\/strong> by Alessandra Ruggeri\/Misanga: of the work, whose central element on stage draws on memories and references from the artists&#8217; personal experience, activating multiple imaginaries, the commission appreciated the originality of the movement vocabulary and the power of the interpretation.<br \/>&#8211; <em><strong>Matomari No Nai<\/strong><\/em> by Catarina Casqueiro and Tiago Coelho: the commission appreciated the way in which the creation emphasises the search for a choreographic and compositional identity that transcends the virtuosic skills of the two authors, highlighting in particular the development and research perspective aimed at exploring multiple roles beyond the boundaries of genre.<br \/>&#8211; <em><strong>Caf\u00e9<\/strong> <\/em>by Beatriz Mira and Tiago Barreiros: the commission recognised the value of turning new eyes to the bodies on stage and the way in which the two extraordinary performers, through their sensitivity, explore surprising dynamics in relation to an evocative musical score.<\/p>\n<p>The commission was composed of Emanuele Masi (Italy), Artistic Director of the Bolzano Danza Festival and of the Equilibrio Festival;
