The Prospettiva Danza Teatro International Prize<\/strong> 2024<\/strong> <\/em>has reached over 120 entries. In fact, 129 applications were received from all over the world<\/strong>, demonstrating that the interest of young dancers and choreographers in the initiative and the originality of their works are renewed year after year.<\/p>\n Until 10 March it was possible to enter the call for entries. Choreographers aged between 18 and 45, resident in Italy or abroad, could apply, proposing creations already presented to the public in studio form or in progress. Nominations for the 2024 edition are from young dancers coming from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Israel, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Slovenia, Spain, United States, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Uganda, as well as Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In the pre-selection phase, the International Dance Theatre Perspective Prize offers artists the opportunity to present their candidate project live to a dedicated commission. The venues and days allocated will be as follows: Catania<\/strong> 16 March 2024 at Scenario Pubblico \/ Centro di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale; Vicenza<\/strong> 22 March 2024 at the rehearsal room Teatro Comunale di Vicenza; Milan<\/strong> 23 March 2024 at the rehearsal room of the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi, in collaboration with the Corso Danzatore.<\/p>\n Of the 8 semi-finalist choreographers, who will perform behind closed doors in front of the international jury on Saturday 11 May, only 4 selected will present their work to the public and the jury on Sunday 12 May at the Ridotto of the Teatro Comunale G. Verdi in Padua.
