Mk – Michele Di Stefano – Bermudas

The work is inspired by the theories of chaos, by the generation of complex ensembles starting from simple conditions, by the evolutionary systems of physics and meteorology. The final result tends to the construction of a place full of relational tension, a very intense energy field (to which the name Bermudas ironically refers) crossed by a drive for immediate communication, necessary to generate a space that is always accessible to any new entrance.
The show is built to be an inclusive and permeable system; each opening to the public is therefore an open window on one of the possible castes but also on the only objective of the work: the construction of a dance that continuously allows someone else’s dance to find space. The choreographic structure depends crucially on the singular characteristics of the performers: entering different points of view on the use of space, the proxemics between bodies or the way in which dance activity is perceived in a collective ritual immediately transforms the choreography in a project of meeting and mediation between individuals who can be the most disparate and the most distant from each other in terms of attitude, gestural organization and expressive intensity.
